First Quarter: I want you to create a poster or powerpoint on how something works.  See the Links page for a good place to start. Second Quarter: For the Third Quarter I want you to research a physicist, but it has to be someone you connect with.  It should take you longer to find the person than to write the report. You will have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince or princess.  Describe why you picked the person, and why you connected with them.  You will then tell me a little about them.  What they did, where they are from, blah blah blah.  It can be as short or as long as you like.  You can present this as a Poster, Paper, Presentation, and almost any other appropriate means.  I would discourage you from Tattoo art depicting your chosen person as this might be a bit too permanent a connection.  No really no tattoos . We are going for creative not crazy.
For example mine could be Jack Marburger.  He was my neighbor growing up.  He was an Optical physicist who is now the Presidents Science advisor . . .  You don't need a personal connection.  You can connect with someone based on anything, but remember your connection is the most important part.  Oh and if you think that you can connect with Einstein based on sailing your wrong.  He was a horrible sailor. Fourth Quarter:    I want a scale model of something.
